So I have been revising Arne's (and Waris) background and now that its done, it makes no sense that its just hidden there for no one to read. Not that I think anyone will but it has better chances here Its still a resume but it helps keep me track of at least the main events on Arnie's life.
...
Born from hate
The one known as Arne Netzer was born in Rosenheim, a small town near Munich- southern Germany, around 30 years ago. Under the half moon, his mother gave birth to twins, both carrying the Great Fenrir's warrior blood without her knowledge.
Five years have passed; years that were not happy or sad. At this time, Arne and Inka's father started to be disturbed by dreams of wolves and duty. He was answering to a call in his soul, and was quite convinced of his actions, when decided to leave his family definitely. Forsaking his twins under the care of a increasingly unstable mother.
They were living in Austria at this point. Near the Bavarian border, in a countryside house that was quite large and old for them. The young twins facing the loneliness of having a mother incapable of loving. The abandonment have immersed her in a grief that dominated all aspects of her life. The extreme shortage, and the increasing need for male affection, tied her to an wild immigrant. And without even knowing such a man, she surenderred completely to him.
The twin's mother brought such man home, and acted like he was her children father. Arne mistrusted him immediatly: How such dark and bestial creature could ever be trusted? He would find grounds for his suspicions. Because this man proved to be not a man, but an disgusting brutal animal.
Throughout childhood, Arne and Inka suffered the most detestable abuse at their supposed stepfather hands. When Arne had to bear all pain, he did it willingly. It was preferable for him to suffer, if he could spare his sister a little. Because she was the victim of their brutal stepfather obsession. Their mother, gave them only contempt. She rejected her children when they appealed to her, and subjected them to the hatred which reigned into their own home.
A furious grief dominated Arne's heart, being fed at every aggression. Growing at each abhorrent day. He wouldn't speak to his sister anymore ... At one point, he was not even seeing her. The only way Arne could protect Inka, was avoiding her. For every contact between them resulting in some extremely inhumane punishment... Still, Inka was all he had. And, the love she once held for him seemed to be turning into distrust. A fear, because she saw the hate thrive inside her brother. But when they were thirteen, on a certain afternoon, Arne found Inka in the kitchen. And, her belly seemed disproportionate on her wounded slim body. Arne than knew; the animal had put a fetus there.
That was a trigger for all grief burst into rage, unleashing the warrior's blood in Arne. The Great Fenris gave him the gift of revenge, no one ever would be so greatful .. Arne remember every moment of that day, he can still savour it. After immersing his own house on fire, letting the flames wipe the evil away, he finally faced the one who represented all hate. Under his war shape dimentions. that beast didn't seemed one giant demon anymore ... Like a man, he yelled, cried, his body bled as his own; when claws sharp like daggers dug a pulsing heart out of open chest. 'der Tunesische' faced his own heart before releasing one last breath... Arne tought it tasted like rotten...
Arne didn't saw his mother or sister for years after this episode. He believed both were death... What would hunt him for quite a while.
He was rescued by a brother, whose existence he was unaware. His name was Henrik, he was swedish, and brought Arne to a gigantic Fenrir caern among the Central European alps. Arne was finally introduced to Garou society. Immediatly , he was fascinated by the Great Fenris, devoting himself completely to the wolf god. He saw in his prime ancestour the foundation for all his personal beliefs (mainly inspired by fascist ideas). From the first moment, Arne strove to be a model of the Fenrir's superiority. Nobody could withstand more punishment than him, no one had gone through so much pain ... But, as Arne unreservedly loved the Fenrirs, he openly despised anyone outside his own tribe.
He acted by extreme and aggressive ways, that were sometimes frowned by his own kind; defying the guts of anyone who got in his path. Showning no mercy, and taste for blood... For his own blood. Arne was specially ruthless in the hunt for Wotanists, minions of the great Fenris biggest enemie, Wotan. And, although no one doubted his warrior heart, his increasing love for the battle, and his devotion to the Great Fenris, Arne's need for challenge led to incomprehensible actions: He often breaked the rules that as Philodox, he supposed to guard. Among them, he seemed to have a interest for sex with another Garou.
A magnetism he developted to a Fenrir female soon led him to pratice such acts, and not minding hiding it, he was properly punished along with his 'partner in crime'. Even though they created bounds to each other, Arne reaped them out from his heart: Being skinned alive, having his rank and auspice taken... It was all bad. But the worse was to be exiled from his beloved 'Heimat'.... Something he didnt foresee, so much blood and devotion were given along with his whole soul, to that precious place. Soon it got clear, it could very well take him out the Fenrir selected, too....
'Homeless', Arne joined a Fenrir pack under Shark belonging to the 'Mjolnir's thunder' camp - 'Havoc Commando'. It's an elite warrior pack summoned by septs all over the world, to fight lost battles and extremely powerful enemies. The urge caused by all humiliation... To see how much more he could take, driving every of his thoughts and actions. Yet, facing death every day he didnt colapse.
It was when Arne landed in America for the first time, to reclaim an caern in Kansas where a Hive as built. By the end of that exhaustive battle, the Fenris attention was caught by an fallen enemy, that cackled madly while lying there dismebered.. Yet, with insanity in his eyes he laughed and shouted Inka's name, staring direct at Arne's eyes and delighting with the similarity - 'heartache', he repeated endlessly.
As former Philodox Arne was able to get the answers he needed from the few enemies that survived the Fenrir massacre - and it couldnt be: Inka was still alive! She was somewhere there.. Close. And this thought immersed him on a helpless dispair - front to a perspective worse than death. Giving all inka went through.. Giving, that she was left all alone. And no one else but a dying spiral would perceive so clearly their similarity. This. Was. So. So fucked up.
Immediatly and clueless, Arne left to find his sister. No words or farewell to his pack mates. He broke the link and simply, was gone.
The Big Show
Arne's search brought him to this sept at Missouri, The Big Show. And for the Fenris disgust it was the picture of everything that is wrong with this world (Having in mind he was all his life into a old school Fenrir caern). But, as the time passed, he learned to at least cooperate with other tribes, creating ties with non-Fenrirs; he even grew found of a lonely Child of Gaia, a Russian girl Amelia.
They would be the supportive rock to each other, as they dealt with their personal demons. getting used to the other's company as they cooperated to achive their ultimate goals.
But before he could get to Inka, things he saw on his dreams led Arne to his mother. And After all those years he found her, too. Souless. Mindless. Trapped on a limbo which in this case, was materialized as an sanitarium. The encounter of mother and son went as bad as expected.. Not long after it word came that 'Ljdia Netzer' commited suicide.
Arne organized a small velorium, but only with the hope that would drawn Inka from wherever was that she was. And on that freezing noon Arne and Amelia stood there all alone, in a stone chappel under a snowy darkness for quite a while...
Until ashes blended with the ice in the athmosphere, and Inka finally shown herself.
Beaten, skinny, weak... Lonely. Just as ever... Except, all her pain now was she as a whole. Literally burning and consuming her skin eventually on small blazes of fire. Her reddish eyes faced her brother's with an piercing heartbreak - As Inka finally stood before that overly scarred, hate filled, war machine of a twin, that as expected brought nothing but death along after all those years.
She walked past him to see the corpse. There was a moment, and she simply vanished away.
The burning, rotten scent, taking the air Arne and Amelia breathed. The smoke surrounding her fragile frame as a whole and swallowing it.. Leaving no doubt. That Inka has fallen - When he first shift, Arne was rescued and brought to a Fenrir sept, but Inka has been abandoned to the hands of the Black Spiral Dancers.
Arne immediatly left after his sister. But not before promissing Amelia, it wasn't a farewell.
-
Arne did fought his way to Inka and found himself wandering through an underwater facility he didnt quite understood at the time. Certainly part of a enourmous threat he didnt care one bit for, that day. After struggle, battle and death he was standing in front of the one who shared the womb with him. She was all he ever loved and everything he lost.
He told her this all, from his heart! Desperate to be listened. But all Inka had to offer was fear, contempt, disgust... And finally a burning anger, towards her own brother. The one who didnt took a breath without regreting all the pain they shared together. The missing he felt... Just like a cold throat devouring all his being. Everyday. Forever. Yet she accused him of what he always knew, but fearest the most to hear from her throath: Arne was damned to destroy everything he touched. He was a bringer of ruination - Nothing but ashes, death and remorse would remain on his path. All and everyone he'd ever care for, was fated to crumble. Ironically, she added... That 'proudly' hed be still standing. Alone. To see everything falling appart.
Finally the two fought. Violently and mercilessly, until Arne had his sister submitted into a pool of the blood they shared even before it was torn out their veins. Yet Arne planned to drag Inka out of there. Save her somehow. Didnt matter the odds or even reason. It had to be done... Even if he had to drag her all the way to the smoldering silver lake of Eberus.
But suddenly, they were both shoved by hundreds gunshot. There was another main character not mentioned, you see. Long story. Many characters. and it hurts to tell it 'so shortly'. But what happened was: Arne thought he had this 'villian' killed, but apparently he thought it wrong. A deadly mistake.
Inka died right there, on his arms.
An alarm ressounded. Gates crumbled from the ceilings, making it wide open for the whole ocean to wash in. The entire place was colapsing above Arne's head.
The twins drowned together.. Senses being numbed as the ferocious waters swallowed them both. There was this moment like the very first - Silently, warm, where only him and inka existed. Before disgrace and during innocence, when they shared their mother's womb. Arne was ready to let it all go, and remain there forever on Inka's arms. Life finished just as is started... It was so perfect.
But, reality hit the Fenrir as a headshot. Nor a lightning strike - He have made a promisse.
Opening his eyes and at the end of his last heart beat, he saw a light. One that drawned him over with an unwhelding magnetism towards his true north. Starlight. Morgenstern. No matter, they had different names for it.. He released Inka from his embrace, to be gone forever. And than was completely drawn by that force as if sucked by a black hole.
Arne woke up, still soaking wet, to find himself somewhere not important at the last of his forces. But, being owner of a obstinated and relentless personality, he still engaged into another restless search - until he found it - standing above the wreckage of her past and future, and holding the shatters of her own hearth, Arne saw Amelia.
When Arne finally held Amelia close again, he wouldnt ever let go. Completely and deeply gone into the most real and brutal form love, so strong it burned on his throat and as well his whole existence. It was reciprocate and didnt matter the litany, good, evil, or any other force on this world. They couldnt help or fight it, soon they were each other mates.
As real as it was, unfortunately it didnt last long. It happened that under The Big Show, a hive was built. It killed the Caern from the inside and like a antil, eroded underneath their home. Dark times came where many would die daily, at awkward attacks... Overpowered fomori raged in, trampling all in their path and destroying all they could find. They were nearly impossible to stop even with the effort of all the Big Show warriors, who every day were shorter... Yet under the preassure of brutality, eventually Arne and the others understood what was going on, and this leaded to a battle that would seal the fate of that sept.
Arne led his small group of survivors towards a final battle. Nothing to gain and only duty to fulfil as they marched severely outnumbered, but with the using of cunning and the help of a Ananazi family living in one of the borders of the Big Show, somehow they raise victorious. Not without casualities though... Amelia wouldn't survive it.
Back Home
Arne returned headhigh to Sonnenschein - the sept among the european alps where he grew up. Things have changed there, not exactly for worse. Fleischer - the former Master of Challenge and highly respected Philodox - a callous, yet unwhelding Elder with a past as dark as Arnes... Have been upgrated to Jarl. He was also the Philodox responsible for Arne's charach trial. Fleischer expressed no objection (or nothing at all) about Arne's return, and as the Fenris was actually considered dear to that land, he was apparently redimed of his sins against the litany.
Fair to say, Arne was now a changed man; all the hate burning on his soul cooled down and his whole perspective towards life was somehow diferent. Yet the foundation was still the same. And he held even more strongly to all values that drove him to fight and kill the best he could. For a considerable time Arne fought again for his beloved home land.
Now Sonnenschein and the other alpine septs had a situation involving the ''Swords of Heimdall'' camp. That was a extreme camp of the Fenris, it has been banned on the 90s (Arne was once acused of belonging to the camp, there was even a trial. But, he came out it clean) Its members were killed to the last or so it seemed... Still the Fenris have always kept an eye open for signs sugesting the Swords ascention. And now there was rumors among the septs about the its activity.
Capturing a suspect and making it speak proofed useful, and now Fleischer (who formed a pack with the Sonnenschein best hunters and led the search for the Swords) knew that in fact, the Heimdall Swords were gathering once again in search of a artifact - an ultimate weapon of the Fenrirs that supposedly, have been hidden somewhere in the mountains during the second world war, to keep it away from the Nazis hands... Der Geisterfaust.
Fleischer had a guess of where to find this artifact, and saw himself before a oportunity where much could be gained. Thats why he drawn a Glass Walker very well know by Arne, to Sonnenschein: Drake Venator, one of the warriors to fight The Big Show final battle.
Fleischer blackmailed Drake into using his cyber senses to retrieve the ancient weapon from a lake, that for hundreds of years have been frozen among the central european mountains. Than he sold Drake to his nemesis - Half Fang, another Fenrir Philodox who murdered the Glass Walker's pregnant garou-wife, and have been hunting him since. In exchange for Drake, Fleischer received from Half Fang one of the Heimdall Sword leaders.
Arne didnt like that at all. Of course, if it wasnt Drake to be used and than disposed to painful death, he wouldnt care one bit. But this changed everything - in some deep (very deep) level the Glass Walker was his friend. They've marched together towards what was expected to be certain death, back in The Big Show and that Arne wouldnt ever forget.
Arne was not a traitor.
He did gather Fenris he trusted, to locate Drake and reap him off the coward's claws. But he was nowhere to be found... So the Fenrir kept it cool for a couple of days, until he confroted Fleischer with the matter, using his fists rather than words: Just to have his ass whipped so badly every single bone on his body seemed to be in shatters.
Humiliated and really pissed off, Arne left the sept again. Holding tightly to his grudges against the Elder Philodox (to be fair this Drake's situation was only the cherry on the top. The problems those two have go back 25 years ago, when Arne and Inka where abandoned to their own luck.... See what i did here?). He will return though. When strong enough. For a challenge to the death.
