"The winter it's on it's way, our fields needs tending." She said simply while double checking Arne after he did introduce himself. Knowing that the first answer was not enough, the older woman finally added: "And so do the spirits. We are facing a lack of Gnosis flow, which.." She glanced at the other man in the proximity that was rolling a cigarette now, and seemed to talk to himself. She didn't seemed to happy about his presence. "Is slowly getting under control. So, it is nothing to worry about if you do so about the safety of your child."

Arne nods once again. If this was her definition of dificult times, Sophie was a sweet summer child... But It was more likely that she was just keeping a few things away... For now. Having his attention directed to that blond guy one more time, Arne finally asks her without much regard. - ''Who is the twink?''

"Just another mean to meet the ends. He's not one of us but maybe he could help you to take care of your cuts. We actually don't allow many.. males to stay in this Sept." She stop to look at Arne, as to make sure he did get the message, it is also convenient that they are far enough from the caravan for the little one to hear them. "We can provide a roof over your daughter head, take care of her, train and help her. But the spots in the Sept are only available for the children and heavy injured. Visits of course are allowed."

Arne was just waiting for something like that to come up... It is not like he didn't know what sort of Sept this was. Now shit got real, because: Staying here and overseeing Aime's treatment was one thing. But leaving her alone to be brainwashed by a band of men hating, progressist-desguised feminazis was out of question.
- "I am not here to stand on your way, or to interfere on whatever matriarchy you run on your Sept..."
Arne stares right back at her, making a step forward so they are facing each other. Yet, his tone was still respectful: Sophie was still an elder which he needed, after all.
- "... You can despise me and everything that I represent all you want. Believe me, the sentiment is mutual. But it is bold of you to suggest I will just leave Aime here for you to 'fix' for me. She is all I got left, and I am all she's got."
There is a pleading on his voice which he wishes wasn't there. There's also his usual stubbordness. Because this was the way it had to work, and he had to make it happen.
- "I brought my daughter to your sept so you can help repair what have been broken between us."

Sophia seemed to straight her back a little bit, but he overall aura didn't changed... until the very last bit Arne said. "Mister Arne Netzer. Your child is not broken, it is not something a mechanic can repair. She needs a steady environment where she can feel safe and loved, get in rhythm of her emotions. Get a hold of her Rage. She is not a lost cub, she understood Garou as she over heard us. There is no evil spirit possessing her. It is simply her mind and emotions. What have been broken between you is not something i can duct tape over, I can not do anything in that matter of fact. It will be up to her to forgive you. And that, can only take time."

Arne listens to everything Sophie says silently. And in the end, is just like he didn't hear a single word.
- "Do you honestly believe that separating a child from her father, is of her best interest?-" Now, it comes the part his mannerism becomes somewhat threatening. There's something about his stare, always holding eye contact. Or the vibration of his voice. Or how uncomfortably close he gets... Even if it really isn't intentional. - "... Or, who's interest are you guarding, here?"

The woman looked up and down at Arne, like he insulted her, or maybe it was the fact he was starting to threaten her.. even if he didn't mean to. "I guard only the interest of my Land, mister Netzer. And yes. Sometimes you need to get rid of the rot from the root. And it seems that it is your selfishness, your fear is stopping this kid from reaching it full potential. I am sworn to protect kids like that and if I will have to-"
Her words were cut off as a hand reached her and Arne's shoulder. The blonde guy appeared seemingly out of nowhere, like he teleported or something between the Fenrir and the Elder. Like an old annoying friend. "Hey hey! There is no reason to raise voices, or.. " He looked at Arne. "Anything else. How about a deal instead.." But that was the only thing he managed to say before the old woman throw his hand off her, like it was something disgusting and yelled, almost barked at him something nasty in Italian.

'... The rot from the root?' Arne felt his blood boiling up at every word that pretentious little mouth spoke, his eyes go red with the rage, his fist tightens and he can picture it fitting perfectly there, so she'd have to spit every bloody teeth out. '... You should shut up now, you old bitch...'
So that hand touches his shoulder. And there's a sudden face babbling out of nowhere. Arne was startled.
The woman yells to the intrusive guy, and Arne got his knuckle dagger up inside his fingers. It's held up on a fist, blade turned towards the other man’s face. Arne takes his collar firmly into his grip.... He faces him off, ready to break that man apart and end all this nonsense a way everyone understands....
But he don't.
Instead, the Fenrir pushes the funny guy away, making two steps backwards... He's glaring at both still possessed by a seething fury.
- "This was a mistake."
He says through clench teeth, and after he sheats the blade back where it belongs, he'll turn around to return to his vehicle...

The guy raised his hands up, not resisting at all. Arne almost chokes him when grabbing his collar as the scarf tightens around his neck... still there was no fear in the guy's pale blue eyes. Actually, he doesn't seem to care besides making a grimace at the dagger's blade so close to his face. His stare was on the old lady, like she was the reason of concern in this situation. As Arne pushes him away he grabbed his own throat, coughing twice to clear his throat. "Ich wäre schnell." He said it like a curse, or maybe in a tone it could be received as one.
The man's well being seemed to not matter at all to the older woman, she that started to move again towards Arne. "The child will be better to stay here. For it's own benefit." She said in a more firm, almost threatening voice now, while taking out a handheld transceiver from her bag, probably to communicate with the warders if Arne had to guess.

Arne glares at Sophie, not believing the audacity of that bitch. He hears the other german dude, wondering if his words were meant as a warning towards him... But hell no! She wants it...? She will get it! Bring it on! Call every fucking warder on this sept, I will fight all of you! Arne stands tall before Sophie now, his game face on, he's approaching as a beast lurks another in acceptance to it's challenge. Over his dead body they will get to Aime, and he means it now, as he always meant it. Arne got so much rage to burn, he's so pissed off, and have been keeping it together like a good Athro and Father should, but now his rage could finally be unleashed into raw, passionate violence.
It was like a wet dream to obliterate a mob of lefty maniacs so just give me a reason...! (He's got enough reason but, as a matter of principle, he wouldn't fire first at this time).
And he's absolutely unnaware of the big pawed, big eared, ungainly young wolf that has come to join him. The grey-white fur was still somewhat shaggy, and uniform on color - like a mist. Its eyes bright but lacking pigment, so is as if it shone white. The fangs are bared to Sophie, and clearly are capable of making some nasty damage. Aime lurks around Arne, as if she and her uncle were a two wolves pack. She may be so angry at him she can't stand it, she don't quite understand anything anymore, but she's not letting him to protect himself alone against possibly-mean weird lady....

The woman seemed unphased by the aggression and the beared fangs of the war ready cub. She scoffed, also not believing the situation and she simply raised her walkie-talkie saying something in Italian, but it was sure it was a call fro the Warders. But... the god damn device didn't worked. She cursed hitting it few times.. but then stared at the other guy with pure fucking hatred.
He had his hand raised slightly, surely for a reason as when Sophie looked at him he lowered it quickly and offered her a quick devious smile before he started explaining himself. Arne would not understand a word they spit at each other, but god the woman was pissed to no end. The whole fiasco was gaining eyes tho, people that were going about their business before now, started gathering, and they looked scared at Aime and the aggressive huge Ahroun. Soon, the woman will not need the Warders as the whole Sept will be here and the time the blonde guy is buying for Arne will run out. So Arne will need to make his choice.

Arne also glances towards the german guy when the Walkie Talkie doesn't work, and he grins slightly with the aknowledgement of what he's just done. He started finding it amusing that this guy could piss off that lunatic old hag so easily... Noticing all eyes around them now, the Fenris gradualy gets back to his senses, suddenly aware of what sort of place they are at - Yes, he was fired up and eager to beat up everyone. He really wanted that... But that would be cathastrophic even beyond reasonable expectations ... There are so many children here.
It became absolutely pointless to remain on this place... Arne turns once again to return to his Caravan, but something soft on his way whines out loud as his boot crush little canine toes - ''Das kann nicht sein, was machts du hier?!'' Arne exclaims out at the young wolf that now snapped at the leather around his ankles. The Fenrir reaches out to grab the pup by the skin of it's nape, and it whines softly until he's carried it inside the driving part of the caravan.
He closes the door behind them and straps on his seat belt. As he turns the engines on, and with the rage still clouding his reason... Arne glances over the canine form of his daughter curling to the far other edge of the long, shared seat. Her ears lowered with insecurity.
And he knew very well that he failed her one more time, as he started to drive out back to the gate.

The old hag and the guy were escalating things between them even more, whatever the German guy was saying it was way more hurtful and important to her then Arne. As Arne drives his junkyard he will see three Hispo running through the wheat towards him, but.... passing him and rushing straight to the yard. The Ahroun Fenrir is free to leave, even the stubby guard he met before was looking towards the inside of the Sept with a weird grimace at what must be happening.
It won't be more then 10 minutes of road before he hears the General Lee horn. If he looks behind through the mirror he will see the same black van, and the guy waving out of the window.

Arne will just drive, and whatever happens that isn't a threat to Aime or himself isn't his concern. So if the gates are free for him to pass he'll just go, even if he's got absolutely no perspective where next... Austria? Germany? Maybe even Sweden (although Arne wasn't very found of swedes). Having some food, and finally a cup of coffee would make it for a start... Any place but here, though. As he drove the heavy and slow machine, the Fenrir glanced constantly to where the young wolf curled up - she was always watching him, except when he looked. He scoffed, shaking his head slightly at that. Arne was about to say something when the horn resonated loudly over his voice, somewhere back on the road taking his full atention. 'Now what the fuck is this?!' The young wolf also jumps up, startled, its ears lifting mindfully to that odd noise. The black van on his side mirror makes Arne lift a suspicious brow, but it was just the other german guy... Alright. Why would he drive after them, though? What did he want? Arne slows down his caravan and rolls down the window so the van could catch up, and Arne could speak to him directly.
- ''Was ist mit die verdamnte Dixie Horn?!'' (We can go with english from here even if they speak german xD)

The German guy takes a moment to make sure there is no cars on the line beside the caravan before matching it with a speed. There is a struggle for him to roll down the window, the ancient mechanism could use some oil. "Sorry! That's the only one I have!" He yelled (in german) so his voice beats the loud engines of both vehicles. Arne can see his lip now is torn but the guy seems like he is living his everyday. "Can you pull over for a moment?!"

Arne scoffs at that, why would anyone consciously chose that fucking horn?
He double checks the rear mirror to see if anyone else was following... Deciding than to pull over at the roadside. He'll turn the engines out once he's parked, jumping out the vehicle and leaving the door open for Aime if she'd like some fresh air. The young wolf stands at the leather of the seats and comes over to peer through the half opened door.
Arne drawns a hand rolled cigarette, lighting it up and inhaling some smoke as he warily awaits for the other man.

There is no one following, there is actually not a lot of cars at all on this road. Besides this one pesky one that the black van had to quickly avoid hiding again behind Arne's caravan. As Arne pulls over, the van as expected will do so as well, parking right behind the bigger vehicle. The German guy will jump off it, checking as well behind him, but mostly at the part of the duct tape and the trash bag that started to peel off, reveling some more colorful paint underneath it.. but he waved a hand at it with a groan before turning back again and moving to meet the Fenrir.
"Hey. Thanks for stopping. And sorry about the whole thing back there. Was just trying to get Bianchi's attention. You.. are Arne right?" He looked at him then lean a bit to wave at the young wolf peeking out with a friendly smile.

Arne peers at the part peeling off and the trash bag of the van, and than back at the oddly enthusiastic man. He is more curious than suspicious right now, folding his arms and blowing some cigarette smoke out his nostrils.
- ''I don't know why you would do that.'' He makes a few steps to meet the man halfway. The young wolf tilts its head at the smile offered and than lies down at the leather seat. Both paws hanging out the door way she watches the two men. - ''And you are?''

The paint underneath the trash bag was forming a rainbow and something white, but the rest of the custom paint was still hidden. The guy sucks on his torn lip and smiles satisfied when Arne basically.. confirms his identity. "Ha, Ka-ching!" He said making a small victory fist in front of him but then like realizing he actually did it in front of a person he clear his throat and turns to.. a more serious version of himself.
"I'm Buster. A friend of a friend.. of.. a friend? I guess?" He confused even himself saying that but offered a handshake. "And, why would I not? Should I let her bring a fight and steal your kid? Look.. no child is as problematic to deserve Miss Bianchi as a guardian. But... maybe I could find something for you two if there is such a big need." The guy seemed to be an honest, and the way he spoke the old woman's name seemed that there was hate rooted inside him for her.

Post by rosenrot on Nov 17, 2020 9:14:19 GMT
Arne quirks a scarred brow at the sudden 'Ka-ching' or whatever that was supposed to be, but the young wolf gives a scoffing sound which probably should translate as a chuckle in her human shape.
"Alright. Buster..."
Arne looks all over him, in a evaluating sort of way. He did like the guy... And that in itself was so extraordinary he'd need to understand all of... This, first. The Fenris drags from his cigarette and glances at the offered hand in a calculating manner.
"I will need more than, a friend of a friend of a friend.. Before I take your hand. So let's not skip the foreplay. Who exactly are you? And what is it that you want from us?"
He blows the smoke from his nose and decides adding this last bit to his questions, indicating the general direction of monastery:
"... And what is your business with that harpy back there? "

Buster glanced at the young wolf scoff, and a genuine smile appeared on his lips like he was happy she found him amusing. As Arne evaluated him, the guy awkwardly pulled his offered hand back with a slight shrug.
"Fair enough." He waited patiently for Arne to shoot all his questions at him. He raised his hands to grab the scarf around his neck and hang his arms in front of his chest. "Ok, so... Do you have any memory of a rainbow haired girl? Yee high. Apparently you fought a barrow together. She was with.." He paused as a wave of grief crossed his face. "With a big metal guy." He shook his head a bit then he pointed at Arne like finally remembering a better clue. "Renegade called us, em.. Drake. We're in the same bunch." He finished with a smile and a nod feeling content with that explanation.
"As for Miss Bianchi..." He started that answer moving towards his van and leaning deep through the driver seat to reach for something in there. "Just an exchange of goods. She needed Gnosis, we needed Talens, I knew her from long ago.." He finally emerged back and offered two simple, small, dried, glyph covered gourds* to Arne. "Here. You can crush them and use the powder to heal injuries. Useful for non-healer-having situations." He said looking at Arne's cuts with a meaning.
--------- *((Gaia’s Breath: When this small, dried gourd is crushed and the dust sprinkled over an open wound, the talen heals up to four health levels of damage (even aggravated damage). To create Gaia’s breath, one must bind a spirit of healing into a glyph-decorated gourd.))

Arne's brows curl as Buster lists their common 'friends', and in the mention of Drake, he gasps out a laugh. The young wolf is now a girl on pijamas and mismatched socks, hanging from the edge of the caravan seat watching the two men. Hearing the familiar name she leans over so she can listen better.
- ''Dash... Wasn't it...?'' The Fenris asks with a grin. ''...I am pretty sure 'Friend' isn't a word Drake would use when refering to me''. His grin slowly fades as Buster continues answering to his questions, and Arne nods slowly receiving the talens. He takes them on his hand, examining the strange little bundle. - ''Thank you...''
He reaches to give the Talens to Aime, who picks them up and looks over curiously as she holds the gourds on her palm. Arne takes a last drag of his cigarette, crushing it within his fingers to end the spark and blowing the smoke out his nose. He directs his gaze back to Buster with a newly gained curiosity.
- ''So I assume you're one of the Roaches? Like the rest of our 'friends'?'' He indicates the direction of the Monastery one more time. ''...Have you lived on this place before?''

"That's it!" Buster confirmed quite happy Arne was remembering the name of the woman but then awkwardness overshadow that happiness. "And.. maybe not. Renegade seems to always hate you more and more each time he ends up at our camp.. now he seems to ignore your existence whatsoever when Dash asked about you.. but weirdly, he doesn't call you his enemy, so I guess that's half win." He smirks with a shake of his shoulders.
"Don't sweat it." That friendly smile appeared back again as Arne did accept the Talens. His hands returned at his scarf listening to the next set of questions from the Fenrir. He didn't seemed to mind this mini interrogation he was being put through.
"No. I'm part of the CyberMetzgears yes.. but we are not all Roaches you know? Momma Rat accepted me after Father Fenrir didn't. And yeah.." He turned to look back towards the monastery. "Miss Bianchi may had something to do with that as she did tried to raise me inside those walls after they send me there." He indicated with a thumb above his shoulder. The way he said walls would remind more of a description of a prison more then the rather open fields that Arne saw visiting the Sept.
"Speaking of... How so you get there? Usually orphans get send there, kids that have no one else to care about them.. and you two seem to not match that category." He looked at Aime then back at Arne... but he quickly added: "If you don't mind me asking of course..."
|
|

Post by rosenrot on Nov 26, 2020 11:06:41 GMT
"CyberMetzGears..." Arne mutters the name trying to remember it's implications. Now that he thinks about it, he never quite asked what they were. Some sort of Cyber Pack? He listens with interest of how Drake's speaks of him, scoffing out with scorn at the end. "Oh, Drake hates me!" The Fenris exclaims with debauchery. But there's honesty and a caring on his voice after he's done mocking. "...Fucking Diva. I hope she is well. Raine and Ethan too. "
Arne also carefully considers how Buster speaks of his experience with the orphanage. The bitterness on his voice seems genuine, he almost can taste it. As he's given the information asked, Arne didn't see a reason why not to continue the exchange. This Bonegnawer and himself might be able to help each other at the end... 'we'll see'.
"I thought they might see things differently than I do, here. That perhaps perspective is how I am failing." Arne indicates Aime with his head, not lowering his voice as if he didn't want her to listen... It's clear he has nothing to hide from her. But Aime cringes as the subject once again emerges, she shrinks back into the caravan, away from the annoying talk.
"Her first change came like a freight train, turning everything upside down. So much have happened and I only seem to make it worse. Maybe these women would understand it all better, but clearly not. I was a idiot to bring her here."

"I guess you two didn't spoke after you guys came back did you?" Buster muttered when Arne mentioned Drake's family but he shook his head as an indication of closing that subject. It was not his place to discuss that. It was his turn to listen and so he did. He glanced at the girl as she moved deeper into the vehicle then back at the Fenrir. The Gnawer tho is not judging, his demeanor seems incapable of doing so. "You are not an idiot if you are doing your best." He shrugged but seemed to consider something. "They are right about one thing tho.. as much as it hurts me to admit. A kid needs to be close to similar of his kind. You know.. a pack, a sept, a village.. Something. Someplace she can open up to someone. That is the best remedy for anything really. Except physical wounds.. for those go to a healer."
Buster looks at the caravan for few seconds then back at Arne. "I guess you guys don't have a place like that?"
